  • Hi Noca,
Can you tell us what filler was used on that track bike back in this thread, looks too bronze to be silver ?

do i have a track bike in this thread?

  • with columbus Super Muscle and Easton EC90 forks

  • :)
well, to be honest i think i'll have to sell my pink panther

there are some people interested... it will be hard for me to see "her" going but now when i want to ride road bike (with gears and brakes) i always use my steel one.

today i'm going to do an upgrade on my steel road bike. I bought a Easton EC90 forks. I think it will look great. As soon as i have it ready i'll share it here.

I might be interested in the groupset if you split

  • do i have a track bike in this thread?

The frame in Post #16, it has 'orizontal dropouts so i assumed it was track destined.
Just was wondering what brazing filler was used, looks so golden.

  • Noca, how much for the Pinkie?

  • Noca, how much for the Pinkie?

Right now a friend of mine (from my town) is ridding with her. He sure loved her and he's trying to make sure he will own her.
I have people here who want the frameset, the groupset... as you might imagine i prefer to sell her with the wheels too.

I can't know how much i'll have to ask for the Pink Panther.

  • If pinkie has a 54cm TT then I'd consider it too, in fact, pretty much complete. Except the saddle...

  • as i said the Pinkie has not that saddle now.
I know, i must take some pics of the bike now.

but guys, you are making my steel one getting mad. The Pink Panther invaded this! :P

  • get in line you lot!

  • Ha, steelie one is ace, would have in a heartbeat! Seeing makes me realise I don't really need a crabon bike. While you're at it I'll take a steel frame like that with track ends and sprayed in the deepest candy apple red you can get....

  • eh eh!

are you giving me ideas for this one?

  • this colour (excuse the car)

  • eh eh!
    i made this last month

  • Oh yeah, forgot about that one. Nearly my perfect bike. Although I would like a 1 1/8 compatible HT so I could run some carbon forks if desired. excellent work noca.

Stop putting ideas in my head!

  • thanks lowpug ;)

i think you have already the right idea. You don't need me to put some more.

  • Superb project, looks lovely. A Geoff Moorehouse headbadge would be a nice finishing touch. http://www.heavygoods.org.uk/Headbadge.htm

Looking forward to your next build(s)

very comfortable, very light (the things i sure wanted to feel with this bike)

  • looks even better than before!

  • when i started to think about a steel road bike the first things i thought about was zipp 202 wheels and the Easton EC90 fork. With time i managed to buy those things and now i can say that the bike 99% as i want it

  • The colour is amazing.
