Why would they waste their money on Liverpool? Make the Glazers a decent offer and they'd bite your hand off.

It's all to secure the services of the genius that is Brendan Rogers.

Just read that the company 'interested' in Liverpool are Saudi Aramco. The single richest company in the world worth $10trillion WFT!

This morning you were saying it's all bollocks and hope it doesn't happen. Few hours later you're all for it?

3 words. Bring it on :)The investments made by Middle-Eastern organisations are really rather odd. They appear to tend to invest heavily seemingly pointless trinkets steeped in history in order to impress each other. People with very little history but an apparently abundant future buying a club with plenty history and no future as far as we can see? Liverpool Football Club fits the bill perfectly.
The other important thing to remember is that these investors don't really ever expect to see a return on their money until they sell. They don't need to sell though. They're amongst the wealthiest people on earth, but they're more fun than Bill Gates.
Why would they waste their money on Liverpool? Make the Glazers a decent offer and they'd bite your hand off.
I wouldn't buy either for obvious reasons, but if I had to make a choice then I'd buy ManUre - plenty of history but a future to potentially equal it.

History Andy, history. And next season
-
• #84735
This may come as a shock, Mike, but United have history too. And a present and a future.
-
• #84736
But no one does history quite like Liverpool and the present is overrated.
Besides, let's just see how Golum gets on before deciding whether United have a present -
• #84737
Thank Christ no-one has a history quite like Liverpool. There'd be dozens more bleating on about it as opposed to the sad sacks of shit on here and in the Kop as well as several boozers in North London - the world-reknowned nucleus of Liverpool fans...

Sorry to see Reina leave in the manner he has.
I can't help but think that BR has learned his man management skills from Rafa.
A bit of a strange one which I hope does not backfire -

A bit of a strange one which I hope does not backfirestrange to choose Mignolet over Reina?
Statistically Mignolet's been a better keeper recently and he commands the box much better from crosses/corners etc which has been a weakness for us.Mignolet's distribution has been as good but i think that was down to the style of play etc.. we shall see
