Do not use a scale, use a mirror or a tape measure around your waist.
If you are doing anything with your upper body in the gym you will put on muscular weight, probably losing some fat at the same time. You will put some beef on your legs too, but only if you do something much more strenuous than cycling (which your body has already adapted to)
