Just reviving this thread a bit, as I have recently bought a second hand Rotrax bike, and would like to know a bit more.
It's a track bike, reynolds 531 "designer select" tubing, with campagnolo record hubs (the older ones with the oil hole), and Miche Primato crankset. Tubular rims, which I'll be swapping out for clinchers.
Once I get it, I'll post up a few pictures, but when I take delivery, what should I look and check for specifically?
Is there any way to tell what year (or era) the bike was made?
Thanks.
Edit: The lug work looks just like the first picture at the top (gold lined). The overall paint job is different, but the lug work is the same (if that helps at all in identification).
