Gig tonight's been cancelled btw (or more accurately doesn't ever seem to have been booked). Kind of handy because the new guit-fiddle needs new strings. It's got that typical guitar shop thing of having ultra light strings on (so when you try it in the shop you go "whoa, this is so easy to play").... then when you get it home you realise it's really quiet and won't stay in tune. Bit of a pain because as it's been set up beautifully for .011s or whatever .013s are going to naff up the slinky action.
Speaking of which, does anyone know what gauge of string on a short scale OM model like this will feel closest to .012s on a dreadnaught? .013s or bigger?
