  • I'm looking at cargo bikes, and due to indoor space restrictions I have to look beyond the usual long-tails (and the Circe Helios tandem, which I would love having ridden one). The options therefore seem to be the relatively straightforward Kona Minute as a mid-tail, or something like a Civia Halsted as a front-load/butcher-style bike.

I want the bike to act as a bit of a load-lugger whilst accepting that I can't carry a freezer, and also to carry 1 or 2 small kids fairly regularly. On that basis the Kona looks a better bet although I prefer the Civia.

Also CRC have the Kona on offer at £399 while the Civia is £1k. Big consideration.

Does anyone have any experience with either? Thanks.
