It's at the Whipps Cross end. More than likely caused by a bbq or cig. There's always fires round there whenever there's a 'heatwave'. A big chunk of Wanstead flats got burnt a few years ago; the new green shoots coming through the charred remains a few weeks later was quite a sight.
A full on fire in Epping Forest is a terrifying thought.
