  • Recorded it.. Yet to watch..

  • Anyone seen the East? thoughts?

It was alright, something diffrent from all the other jazz.

Im waiting on Kings of summer, only god forgives and the spectacular now... Wish they were out already!

  • Monsters University is worth a watch, it's warm and a good laugh. I love (most) Pixar films.

  • Anyone seen Worlds End yet?

  • Just came on here to ask the same. I mean, Simon Pegg isn't funny anymore, but the reviews are good...

Argeed on Monsters University. Not Pixars strongest, but that still means it's pretty awesome.

  • The World's End is no Shaun of the Dead, but is on a par (ish) with Hot Fuzz.

It could do with some tighter editing, particularly towards the end, where it drifts a little, and then goes on for 3 / 4 minutes too long.

  • A Field in England - very odd and unsettling film about a bad afternoon in a field during the English civil war.

Living In Emergency: Stories Of Doctors Without Borders. Documentary covering MSF's work in Congo and Liberia. Unsurprisingly upsetting at times but engrossing and thoughtful.

Both can be streamed on Movie4k.to, the successor to Movies2K which British ISPs banned.

Is Monsters University is regarded as a Pixar films? (due to the Disney takeover).

  • Hmm not sure, good point. Still it's worth a watch!

  • Yawning?

Yep I totally agree with you, it also wasnt as funny either as Shaun of the dead or Hot Fuzz. But I liked what they had done with the story!

    And Rosmund Pike is lovely.

Saw Monsters University last night and even tho it wasnt as funny as the 1st outing, I really really liked it. Nice feel good family film....

  • Oh yes:

  • Caught Murmur of the Heart last night - really enjoyed it and would recommend it if you like contemporary period films

  • And Rosmund Pike is lovely.

Watched Jack Reacher last night, she not so lovely in that. Mainly cause the whole film is shit. Though I got the sense the books are probably pretty good though.

No wait, the bit with the hat hiding from the cops (that's in the trailer) is pretty good. The rest of the film is shit.
