2013-07-22 Rider Down - Hackney Road

Must have just happened about 19:30, just a minute before I cycled past, as traffic was only just building up behind the accident.

Just at the start of Hackney Road, after the junction with Kingsland Road, on the inside of he bend.

Someone who I assume was a cyclist, on the floor, with a bike on the floor just behind, and a few other cyclists standing around.

A car just past, stopped in the middle of the road, with the driver also attending to the person on a floor. From the shouts of "get his number plate", and his response "I'm not going anywhere" I assume he was somehow involved.

She was awake, but seemed pretty out of it, and wasn't getting up. No obvious injuries or blood, so hopefully nothing too serious.

Someone was calling an ambulance, so I didn't stick around.

I pass there daily and I hate that bit of road. Of course I cannot know what specifically happened to this cyclist, but personally I find that allowing cars to park just where the bend starts has given me plenty of 'oh shit' moments.
Hope she heals up fast, would be great if someone were able to let us know how she's doing.
