@ww I am slightly serious about wiggo and BMC. I probably don't know enough to know why that is ludicrous.
What would he go to BMC to do? To ride the tour? I doubt he wants to and he doesn't seem so motivated by money. Also, going to another team and losing to Sky would be hard to handle. Tejay had a bad tour this year but it would be daft to write him off. I can't see where a third (if we include Evans) grand tour rider would fit in.
If Wiggins wants a go at Paris Roubaix he would be better off at Sky - they would have little to lose by backing him since their existing classics riders are still learning the trade.
Plus, BMC has just been a graveyard of a team. John Lelangue has just left, for 'personal reasons', probably meaning that he took it personally when the owner asked him how he managed to piss away tens of millions of Euros on star riders who can't win any more.
