The snobbery surrounding trade team kit is very odd to me. In Europe everyone rides about in trade team kit and it's sold on behalf of the local teams by the local bike shops plus you can buy the usual pro-tour and pro-conti kits. Yet here in Britain you're a full kit wanker for doing the same.
Why is that?
