I am in the market for one of these carbon rim things.. Want it to be quite light though. Anyone recommend the tfg/kinoko deadly disc 50mm ones? Seem ok for £100..

Fuck them, I ran a Surly on my Phil Wood hubs.

Yep, I recon even on a budget you'd struggle to build a pair for any less than £600. Not in the beater bracket imo either.
