How much are you looking to sell the mielec for? (are you planning to sell the mielec?)

love this frame. looking forward to seeing it in slave configuration.

Going to look so good! Keeping the pink grips and tyres from the Mielec?
-
• #6
I've actually changed the Mielec set up since that picture.
Currently running black Charge Spit risers (50mm rise) with clear pink Yoshida Champ grips as the ones on the picture above did not have enough rise.
The pink tyres have come off too as they didn't like mad skidz. I have Gatorskins on at the moment.

This looks fecking sweet Vince!
You've got the perfect parts to transfer to this, cant wait to see it built!

The only 'problem' is the 1" forks on the Pinarello meaning I can't use my 3T Funda Pro (real ones too!)
I will be keeping the original ones for now while I source something more slave.

My thoughts exactly, why would you take this off and put a Token wheelset on???

Come on Vince!!!

The Campag Pista Q is so tight that the first time you refit the crankset it doesn't clear the somewhat hefty chain stays.
The Token wheelset is a thoroughly adequate daily ride. The Royce rear hub gave nothing but trouble, despite Cliff's determination to the contrary.
It's a beautiful bike that I enjoyed hugely. I hope Vince enjoys it as much as I did!

Right, I now have all the bikes at the same place so I can start to swap parts.
The FSA track chainset will stay on the Pinarello as it has an italian threaded BB...
So I will swap wheels, cockpit and saddles. I have a new seatpost in the post. 27.2mm CNC inline that should arrive later this week.

Haters gonna hate....
Mielec has sold today, the Pinkarello is now my ride to work:
Not sure what is wrong with my phone but the camera seems to captur too much brightness.

It is a 1" steerer - I've got an automatic search on eBay for straight forks as I'd like to get some.
Those intergralter would look nice in black.
I'm surprised no-one has flammed me for 'ruining a good bike' / 'killing puppies'!

Think I passed you on Walworth Rd on Sunday. Nice bike.

That was me, I was heading to Burgess Park.
I need to tweak the set up a bit but other than that, I am pretty happy with it.
(until I find a titanium track frame that I like...)

your size and all..
I have just purchased this pink Pinarello Surprise Pista off eBay (Kowalski on here).
This was bought brand new from Edwardes in Camberwell in 2006/07. The colour scheme is a bit of a mistery as there aren't any other Pista like this one. The best explanation is that is was a 'one-off' made in Giro pink. If Edwardes didn't know at the time...It will be hard to find out why there is only one...Please let me know if you have more information.
The bike spec has evolved since purchased by Kowalski with only the Record headset and 1" threadless carbon forks being original. The bike originally had a Royce track wheelset and a Campagnolo Pista Record Chainset which was changed about 200 miles ago for the FSA Track chainset and the Token wheelset you see in the pictures.
The Nitto bars, Bontrager stem and Prologo saddle are brand new.
Here is the bike as it currently is:
It is all about to change as I will be using it as my daily ride.
I will move components from my Mielec so, Omniums, Hed3, risers...
I will move the FSA carbon track chainset on my Dolan Seta for track duties and sell the Nitto bars.
I will update this thread as I go.
Cheers
Vince
