That guy is a dick. Primates (or any other wild animals) as pets are never cool. http://www.andrewwalmsleyphotography.com/blog/2012/5/dance-monkey-dance
and you said nothing about about the polar bear, crow, cat, dogs or bull on the same page?

why are they called pri 'mates' if you're not supposed to hang out?
and do you prefer to spend time with your friends when they are free from the constraints of underwear?

well it certainly isn't running free, is it? so if you'd looked at the link he provided you'd understand it doesn't really matter if it is that particular man's pet or not

I never said it was his pet, in fact I'd be fairly certain that it is not. However it it plain to even the dumbest wit that it did not come down from the trees, don a pair of comedy boxer shorts and drape itself across his crotch off it's own volition.
My guess is that this photo is from Java, but thats just it a guess. Even so, monkey's are taken into the pet trade illegally across the world, not just SE Asia - normally as infants after their mothers have been killed, they are beaten and have their teeth pulled out. They live their lives chained to the roadside or paraded along some beach in the hope that people will pay the owner to be photographed with them - thus perpetuating the trade.
If you think that it is in anyway morally acceptable to exploit wildlife for the sake of a cool profile picture on facebook then I'm very sorry.
Nerged for being a sweary keyboard hardman.
