^^ Rather this than baking heat, surely. I don't want to be putting on MoonBlock Lotion
Innit. I was quite pleased when I woke up this morning and saw Cool outside my window instead of Fiery Death From Hell

Does cloud mean it will be warmer or cooler overnight?
I think warmer cz cloud keeps the heat in, my 12 year old nephew sz cooler cos the ground soaks up sun during the day and radiates it out at night.
Both seem feasible.
It matters because it it's cooler I will be taking Starmix, if hotter probably Maom as the wrappers stop them sticking together, but wrappers make them a faff and I prefer Starmix because of the lovely, delicious eggy ones.

To whom do I complain.
Thanks. I blame the teachers.

How many pints before this becomes difficult? I fancy a few along the way but dont want to end up drunk and unable to cycle, cycling home after the pub is easy but not so sure about this.

Start with a least a few and a hip flask.

Tempted to borrow a tadpole recumbent. No possibility or falling over.

Definitely taking a flask of something, probably kamm and sons - made from ginseng so made for this ride.

Divide your weight in KG by 3.14 and add the square of the percentage of alcohol by volume in your chosen tipple. If you come up with an answer, any answer, you can have another pint.

Thanks I've tested this and it works well. Anyone bring a chiller to keep beers cold along the way?

Hi, any idea what time most of you are leaving the Pub on the Park?
I shall be at Col de Whipps Cross at the top of the Lea Bridge Road, which is where I will try and do a shout out. The only person I usually recognise is Jah Tim
Any one want a food stop?
BTW- look out for pot holes between Epping Town and N Weald, the bit after the last traffic lights is the worst.

I think I can confirm that my plans are either to cycle back or ride to a mates in aldeburgh, I sadly have to return to London, rather than Nottingham, tonight.

A v nice chap I know called Simon (simongodfrey@btopenworld.com) has had to pull out and would like to (preferably sell) his bus ticket. It's a £30 one (but I think if you offered him £20 he'd maybe take it). He'll forward you the email with the barcode.

Anyone interested in a train ticket with bike reservation for the 11.17 from Diss to L'pool Street on Sunday morning? I can bring it up to London Fields this evening, complete with OS map extracts to show the route from Dunwich to Diss.
It belongs to Jurek of this parish, and I was due to hand it over to another rider this evening but that rider's now pulled out. Ticket cost £12.

I'm fucking knackered and I don't know why. I forced myself to sleep until 1 so I think I might have overdone it. Also, hayfever today is fucking horrible.
See you at the park, guys. The first 20 miles are going to be a good wake up for me, going to eat all my food like a kid on a school trip and me starving by the 40 mile mark.
