I think it's a valid point, more about dozy cyclists going up your arse than cars who are oblivious anyway. I was in Copenhagen recently where > 40% of people commute on bicycles, there are separate lanes, crossings etc and I imagine it's a model for inner city which we will hopefully adopt. And you know what, they all use hand signals for slowing down so there's not mass rear-endings. It's like the 'how' sign you imagined red Indians would do as a kid. /csb /racist /fedhollywoodlies
