While looking for a short cut to work this morning (AKA riding frustratingly around all the one way streets in Chelsea (why do they always go the WRONG one way?)) I was stopped by a man who shouted “nice bike!” at me. We had a good chat about bikes and how the TDF used to be so much more hardcore and then he asked if he could pick up my bike and then he said “wow, it’s pretty hefty, isn’t it?”
Sadface.
