It's for a mate who's moving to Hong Kong (same one as I was selling the Allez for a while back), just clearing out his bits.

It'll be in Marylebone/Forest Hill for collection but I could ride it over to you.

Spec is as below and it was serviced (new brake pads and possibly rotors) just before Christmas and hasn't been used since.

It's worth a decent sum in parts alone, could make a nice feeder for another bike possibly.

*Please note: there is a dent in the fork in one of the photos, it would seem. I've had a look and it looks almost like part of the design - it's just next to the rotor - but I honestly don't know. I'm going to ride it home and see how it is.****

  • PEEERRIIIICEEE DEEROPPP.
    £275.

    Now in Forest Hill, SE23

  • size of frame? height of your friend?

  • It's a medium, which is suitable for 165-175cm tall people apparently.
    He's around 5' 11".

I'm 6ft, so will see how it goes this afternoon. If you want to come and have a look it's in Marylebone for the next couple of hours.

  • FWIW, the components on this are mad decent. If I had the money I'd buy it myself and MTB it up a bit.

  • Hi dglshrn,

I work near Marelybone and am looking for a bike to commute. I was thinking of a SS (I'd like to find a decently priced bike, SS seemed to be the best option), but this bike might do the trick. How heavy is it? Could I take a look at it and give it a try? Is the price negociable?

    Thanks,

PS: I tried to PM you but couldn't find how...

  • The price is reasonably negotiable, but as I'm selling for a friend who's emigrating I'm trying to keep the price up!
Do you want to come and have a look? Give me a ring on (REMOVED THIS NOW!)
I think you might just be too new to PM.

  • Also got a couple of Bell Faction helmets (large) that I've had in my locker all year. Fiver each, if anyone wants one between Marylebone and Forest Hill I can drop one off this afternoon.

    One black and one white.

  • You're probably right about me being too new to PM.
I sent you a text instead. Thx

  • I really can't work out what the 'dent' is. It looks like it's supposed to be there, does anyone know if it's part of the design, to allow the rotor to spin freely when gunked or something?

Took this for a spin today and it's sweet, btw.

  • How did you find it for size?

  • Actually alright. I'd put the bars forwards a bit (adjustable stem installed presently) and the seat back a tad but it actually feels pretty good.

I have a 32 inseam, and am about 6ft. I tend to ride 56/57, so that's what I'm comparing it to.

Will is interested but nothing's set in stone.

  • is this still available?

  • Dibs if still up for grabs... PMing now

  • Now in Forest Hill and still available. I took it into the bike shop and they confirmed that the 'dent' is meant to be there.

Come on, don't make me take this up to Otley tomorrow! Someone come and get it tonight. £250! It'd make a perfect single speed. Disc brakes are great, etc!

  • Sold, cheers.
