On the way home last night in a side street there was a car ahead of me, an old silver Astra, driving very slowly but erratically. At first I figured it was someone looking for a door number so I gave them the benefit of the doubt. It was only when I went to overtake that I saw a kid of no older than 10 was driving the car. He looked resplendent in his Arsenal shirt and his big grin. His mother, you know the sort, was sitting next to him in the passenger seat giving him directions. I was too shocked for words other than 'Are you sure this is a good idea?' What shocked me more was not the kid driving but that it happened in Finchley. This beahviour is really not acceptable in this part of town I should have said.
I guess I should have phoned the OB but it's not my cup of tea.
I still can't believe it
