£45? What's wrong with cutting down the trousers you steal off the homeless like the rest of us?

Just bought FO:NV for PC. I have it for PS3 but want to try the mods out.
Thankfully it's easy to move PS3 saves to PC :) -

Also just bought NV :)

Get "Project Brasil"
Whole reason I bought it for PC.

ok so moving my PS3 game to PC has some interesting side effects. Lucky 38 is locked down behind a metal gate. Thank god for console commands!

Article in the Guardian about why and how PS4 has been designed the way it is/was.
Interesting reading from what I can understand between all the technical specs and cpu discussions..

Finally playing Skyrim in anger

Started Fallout: Project Brazil tonight. It's really good. Only 1 hour into it, but definitely worth grabbing if you have PC New Vegas.

Spent far too much moneys I didn't have on the steam sale.
Fallout NV +dlc, borderlands 2 +dlc, deus ex HR +dlc, dishonored +dlc, max payne 3, system shock, left 4 dead. On top of arma 3 and skyrim legendary at full price.
Still more to come I guess. Not enough hours in the day... :/

hahaha I had most of them already :S
NV is "ok" but with Brazil it's great. BL2 is fucking awesome and I spend waaaay too much time in it. Actually, pretty much everything you bought is excellent :)

Crysis has just been knocked down to a couple of quid, might have to pick it up just to stress test the rig.
I've played almost all of those to completion on the xbox... want to play through far cry 2 again, I feel I didn't give that game the attention it deserved on console.

But far cry 2 is extremely boring in parts.
Just Cause 2 is awesome.
Also having never played Skyrim would I be able to get in to it now? It seems way to overwhelming.

Brilliant, I'll see how I can download it, I'm never good at doing this sort of thing.

Speaking of mods, have people played Minerva for Half Life 2?
It's pretty old now, was originally released in episodic format but I missed it the first time round. It got updated and put on Steam fairly recently.
It's also very, very good. The guy who made it was given a job at Valve.

Oh and anyone that doesn't own it please buy Killing Floor - In my opinion it wipes the floor with Left 4 dead in terms of re playability.

Mark Of The Ninja is a must buy for any stealth fans.

Boring, or awesome?
Skyrim eases you in to the mechanics pretty easily I think... It's a good game, but it will eat your life.

Depend on your preference really.
I enjoyed the first one, 2 was a little tedious and heavy, 3 was fun if a bit "BRO!".
-
• #8420
Yeah 2 was tedious Ed is right. Go here do this, then drive there do the same again.
I would recommend Just Cause 2, it's weird to play an open world game with that much action though.
-
• #8421
YO, can recommend getting into Skyrim, I put it off for too long, but in a way because I'm so behind I'm liberated and am being really gung ho about it, just diving in there and letting the narrative carry me organically
-
• #8422
Ha I did the same thing with Mass Effect 2 - tried it a few times but couldn't get into it. Then I got it and completed the thing in two days. Brilliant.

Far Cry 3, trying to defeat Hoty (sic?). WORST EVER.
Might just sack it off... -
• #8424
Yeah I seem to remember that being a right cunt on, and having those exact same feelings.
QT events can GTFO.

lemmie know if you get stuck. I just used the nexus mod manager, logged in to their site clicked the download link and away it went.
Do make sure to double click it IN nexus mod manager. Initally it will have an X next to it. That confused me for a bit. Then make sure it's ticked in the plugins section and should be it.
Don't worry about the extra suggested stuff ( ENB etc...)
No. Never. Ever.
I felt extravagant spending £45 on some Endura MTB shorts!
