there is an official 'guide' but its also find your own way or more like 'follow the person in front of you' vibe

First year i did it, i didnt have a route, a garmin, or even an idea where i was going. I just went with the flow.

My group got split up so many times last year, but there is always someone's wheel to suck and you'd be surprised how easy it is to find the people you've lost.

The extenders are to allow you to use some swish rechargeable battery size. Mine came with them and I was intrigued as to what they were so I looked them up.

They're expensive though, I seem to think.

For those using these, take spare batteries. I bought a pack of cheap AAAs last year and took them with me as after a couple of hours they faded a lot.
