I'd be up for a ride to Cambridge again. Hoefla lead the last one. Perhaps starting from Chingford station for those who don't want to battle out of London.

I second the Cambridge suggestion - and the leaving from Chingford action!

There's a nice East London roll in the Lost Lanes book that we could make into a Hipster Highlights Ride with the above?

Good call poots. I've got some more rides planned for when i can ride again properly, whenever that is.

Swirliez ? (Palmer's Green, possibly a bit too far, but I just know it as my mate lives around the corner from it)

All ice cream suggestions welcome. We can decide a route and length of ride once we see the options :)

I went to Scoop in South Ken the other day, think it's a chain but it's really nice.

Yum! Scoop in Soho is rad.

Spam alert! Spam alert!
Riding out to Dedham on Sunday for a spot of swimming - 80ish fixed friendly miles, and no hills (to speak of).
More details here:

Would be lovely to have some of you along.

Whilst I'm helping to care for my sick mum here in Jamaica, can I put in a request that someone has a scoop of icecream and a pint of Guinness in my absence? Oh, and a sore bum at the end of a ride? Tenky.
I'll be back in time for the brighton ride in September.

ice cream suggestion: La Grotta in Bermondey is supposed to be great, but only open Saturdays: http://lagrottaices.tumblr.com/

Oddono's in South Kensington does good icecream too - not as good as Gelupo but still tasty.
And there's Lab G in Brixton Market
Greedy Goat (goat's milk gelato) are often at Borough or KERB/Eat St on occasion.
The other lovely London icecream is the Ice Cream Union but I think they only sell in packaged tubs rather than having a shop sadly.
I love icecream...

I'm not working in August so am pretty much up for everything! Need some kind of ice cream holding device attached to my helmet, sort of like a horses feed bag but filled with delicious.
edit- having had a look at the dates/diary turns out I busy on all of them. Bah humbug.

Sorry I've been a bit out of loop/not on here much but had STUFF taking up my time.
Hurrah! for new faces and owls though!

Is anyone able to tell me roughly what the pace has been for the lady rides? Garmins? Stravas?
Trying to work out how long the next Owl ride will take so I know when we need to meet in the morning. -

When we went to Herne Bay for Rapha 100 we had a rolling time of like 5.5 hours but an actual time of closer to 8 but we did stop for lunch at a pub and had various other stops too, probably due to a bigish group.
Thought it might be useful to have just one thread with upcoming ride dates - and linked to actual discussion/planning etc?
I'll get the ball rolling:
Tuesday 16th July: LCC flash/protest ride
Again, obvs not a Ladeez Ride but important one innit http://www.lfgss.com/thread110251.html#post3713720
Saturday 17th August: The Only Way is Essex (and Herts) Re-run of ride originally done in Jan, original thread here: https://www.lfgss.com/thread98129.html new one to be started
Saturday 24th August: LFGSS Track Day 8: not strictly a Ladeez Ride but well, y'know: https://www.lfgss.com/thread109915.html
Saturday 7th September: Ladies Do Brighton 2013. Thread here: https://www.lfgss.com/thread104876.html
What do people think? As new rides are suggested etc I'll update this post if people like the idea.
