Any info?

Pretty sure that's because there aren't any at the moment. Scoble, Gran Bois' biggest fan said he had to order his from Compass in the States.

Ah.....thanks bud.
Makes you think that they are either not all that, or someone is missing a trick.....
-

Think it's due to the fact that its a niche, low volume production item that sellers wouldn't make a huge amount of profit on? I may be ordering some soon, so will let you know if I do.

Cool beans.....let me know and we could split postage/fucking customs/post office rapey charges.....
I'd like to have a go I think. On my ride today with the mercian, my Michelin world tours suffered some ugly splits......they are old, but in good, shape before today!
I reckon it was the heat.....and the flinty bits -

Have you considered Rivendell? Not sure what size you're looking at but they seem pretty nice too and get damn good reviews. TFG are a stockist and have a shipment coming in soon I believe.
But yes, I will certainly let you know.

Have some Rivendell Ruffy Tuffys (bought at TFG) - look and ride lovely - come in sizes x28 or x32; would recommend!

Can you get these in 25's?
-
• #12
Checking it now.... Ta!

They look good..... I need to check if they fit under my guards... They should though. Fast rolling? Good Cush? Worth it?
-

Brooksshop.fr has some Grandbois tyres listed.

Jammy rides them on his fast bike, so I can only assume so.
My god they're expensive from the French place.

Though they're no more expensive than they are from the States. I might look at Rivendell instead. Cannot justify 100 Euros on tires.
-
• #17
Apparently you get good miles from the grand bois..... Are the ruffy tuffy long lasting too? I don't normally spend £80 on a pair of tyres..... That's a big hit. Rapha sized, even...

Are these more puncture resistent than Challenge Forte/Roubaix etc?
-
• #19
-
• #20
i bought mine in germany i think - they're bloody brilliant, much more resistant than the roubaix, a little more than the forte i suppose?
-
• #21
Still over £80 for the set though..... Ouch.
-
• #22
i don't that's too bad for tyres - for percentage of investment tyres are the best purchase you can make, i try to fit the best i can afford on all my bikes

I know......I'm just being cheap
