Nath. I know what you mean, but, lets say, there are only six women signed up (only two on the current list have confirmed they would be ready to race), then why would you split the races up?
More women are needed before more races added. The other option is sorting out a handicap system.

Yeah, I'm not afraid of losing to someone better than me and this is all just a bit of fun.
If you're billing it as a race meet then the program should be well put together and as lfgss is an equal opportunities internet forum (not a boys club) then there should be parity. If people don't turn up, they don't turn up.
