James from CycleLove is taking a ride out from LMNH to our fete on Sunday. There are pick-up points along the way. See here innit:
http://www.cyclelove.net/events/event/le-francais-vulpine-cycling-fete/Also of note, we've produced a posh free newspaper for the fete with designs from some of the UK's most biggest and dead impressive designers doing nice things. And even a story by Robert Millar! Fun times.
And there's loads of bike parking.

Is the bike parking on the street or in the venue itself?

Will be attending this - gonna try to get a box hill loop in before hand.

Also attending.
We're taking the river path down from Kew Bridge, off-road pretty much the whole way as it's a beautiful ride.

Was planning a slightly less sedate ride for Sunday but this looks like a good day out instead!

IN! and have the same question about bike parking (?)

It's on the 5th floor.

True story: I thought this was today and just spent about 15 minutes puzzling over the TDF elevation profile thinking "but I thought they were going up Ventoux today?"

Word in from Vulpine: there is bike parking inside the pub garden, if that helps.

Box hill loop from RP then head back to the Lion. Hope to get there around 1.30.
Should be able to put bikes in beer garden still at that time, right?

Anyone going from LMNH in the morning? I don't really know many folk in the real world but I'll probably be there on my cougar SS...
-

Btw, the LMNH route on google maps will clash with a 10k run through central London tomorrow. They'll need to keep the route a touch north to avoid.

also, I get the impression the overground won't be running from Richmond to H&I, as suggested as a route home for the drinkers on LMNH.

My ass hurts, as anyone on the leadin ride can probably guess. Fell off the rear doing a wheelie :(

But you did save the bike... Good bunch of people today, a very relaxing Sunday.

According to my Garmin, the temperature hit 32 degrees today. Wtf. No wonder I was melting in the pub.
Sort of regret doing a solo ride there and thus having missed this failed attempt at Being Peter Sagan ^^
Nick Hussey is putting another tea party together with his wife EmmaLou, baby Millar,
at The Lion, bring your bike, bring the family, free entry, see you there...
