Can I put normal forks on a Trek Domane?

So let me get this clear? .. You bought a new bike. You're going to change the forks to reduce one of the fundamental design features of the bike .. and you don't like the colour. Why do you not take it back and get something that is more suited to your requirements?

Not sure the bike shop would appreciate my attempts to knifeout the blue decals if I were to return it now.

While I accept the Trek engineers and designers are knowledgeable chaps, they have made a fundamental error in using blue. Blue bikes are slow!
