  • After umming and ah-ing over the Chrome metropolis I just thought it had a few shortcomings at its pricepoint. Im lucky enough to own my own clothing company and whilst doing SEO I stumbled across a similarly named business to my own. Turns out they make courier bags. A collaboration ensued. And here is the result

I think it outclasses most in its price bracket (£150 mark)

I hope you guys like it.

  • looking ok if you like the styling.

  • Well the styling is to fit my taste and my companies branding. The graphics are grey on black and black on black - so it's quite subtle and the red fixings can also be black too

  • " ... either way, this is designed to ride well on your back, no matter how much or how little you’re carrying."

would be nice to see a picture of the bag's back then ...

  • That skeleton looks like it has a terrible migraine

The back isn't very interesting, it's the way the straps interact which makes it comfortable

  • It's also possible to have a led strip woven across the whole back.
Adds visibility for negligible weight and fuss

  • no photo's of inside? Any pockets or padding?

  • no photo's of inside? Any pockets or padding?

There are pockets inside and a removal roll up section that also has additional storage

  • No x-strap? Doesn't look very comfortable to me...

  • Cheers putting the photo up

  • SWEET COLAB ANY NEW COLORWAYS GONNA DROP?

As its handmade colour choices are flexible

  • Looks very good.

Personally, I want a lot of photos and spec details when I'm buying stuff. That buckle looks cool - cobra?

I always think one needs photos of every feature in order to decide whether to buy.

Hi, yeah it's a cobra lock, I found that was pretty much the best solution, at first I had an airline style buckle but it easily got caught and undid, not cool.

Inside there is a free padded tool wrap, a zipped pocket with key holder. 3 smaller pockets about the height of a box pen and 2,3, 4 inch respectively

I will take some more photos today and upload them. People on LFGSS really seem to like photos!!

sure I am not commenting on your taste :)

skull is not my thing but I like the bag though. have to admit that even if I would love it I wouldnt get it for that very reason.

dont take it personally but it seems skeletons and skulls are now everywhere even on the 4 y old clothing ...

  • yes, people buying of the internet like photos. as someone smart said its because you buy the picture and information not the actual product - and thats true, worth to keep it in mind when selling stuff on internet.

  • yeah, its important in the design and usefulness of the bag where the inside pockets are, how they are fastened etc. I personally use my bag every day so its important for everything to be in the right place. And also if you are asking someone to drop 150 quid its only fair to let them know what they are buying before they buy,

  • Yep, would in no way consider laying 150 quid out for one of those, I just can't see anything important regarding it's functionality or what makes this better than other bags at that kind of price. You tell me it's there, but all I see is a silly design.

  • Print designs are always a tough one. Plain and well made hardy products sell well because they are not socio type specific.

I 2nd the points about being well photographed and explicit detailing when selling goods.

A picture of somebody wearing an item is helpful at times but you want to tantalize your marketplace with instagramesque pictures to really sell an item.

Also skulls are a bit emo camden these days as i get told by people when they see my tattoos but hey thats fashion.

  • Looks alright, but can't see anything it has over a chrome bag. I've used 3 different chrome bags now and the one I used when working never let me down in any way. Just couldn't justify spending more on this.

  • It's also stateside so will be victim to import duty.

I admit I'm biased, but I would much rather the subtlety and UK sewing of the Restrap messenger...

I'll add more photos to my website. Its clear that people want more photos.

This is handmade, it has a lifetime replacement and repair, the fit is better than the other bag I was initially going to buy at this price, which was the Metropolis.

The bag is produced in the USA I am based in Brighton in the UK - as for the subtlety thats not my thing...heaps of brands do that, this is for a different demographic.
I understand the comment about skulls being a bit Camden, but its been the logo of my brand for 3 years now.

I think "all I see is a silly design" is a bit needlessly rude.
