Women in the Tour de France

^You might think that, but I think that the reality of doubling the riders, the staff, mechanics, bikes, coaches, trucks, staff, soigneurs, chefs and food/equipment etc and that's just the teams...if they were to run simulatenously, but apart on the road due to pace, you'd need twice the camera bikes, medical staff, helicopters, commissares and on and on and it would make the tour completely unfeasible. Everything you read about the tour says it's on the verge of being that way as it stands.

I wouldn't expect a Women's tour to be as big a field, at least not to begin with, but I take your point. Personally I can;t see it happening on the same day timetable.
