    to clarify, there's two seperate issues?

    1. the width of the cog preventing the lockring engaging on all of the thread.
    2. the coating on the EAI cogs make the threading tight.

    Thread is the same, apparently it's to do with the coating on the EAI cogs making the fit a bit tight. Think some people have fitted them by winding them on a bit, then back a bit, then on a bit more, etc. etc.

    IMO if you've dropped the cash on Phil hubs I'd get a Phil cog as they recommend.

    Why won't my EAI cogs fit on my Phil Wood track hu?! I've read they're both Campag threading ISO. is that incorrect?
    Dura Ace threading is NJS, yet they fit on Phil Woods?!?!
