Maybe the women's race can have categories within the race? So once everyone is seeded, you win the Cat B by being the first Cat B finisher, presumably behind the Cat A riders? Adds a bit of competition within the races and may stop them looking like a procession.
I'm in, not going to Indra the list by trying to add my name while on my phone though.
