So say if I bought those Shimano r500's I'd be able to just screw this straight on? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/16t-x-1-2-x-1-8-Screw-on-Single-Speed-Freewheel-for-BMX-Bike-Fixie-Bicycle-NOS-/261218532381?pt=UK_sportsleisure_cycling_bikeparts_SR&hash=item3cd1d67c1d

Also, do you know what spacing your frame has? Is it for a road conversion or a track frame?

I just bought an old raleigh frame, as far as I'm aware I just need to get brake callipers with a long enough reach for 700 wheels

Good advice on the wheels. just picked up all of these today at a steal! http://www.lfgss.com/thread109988.html
Found a cheap set of Alex Rims s500 wheels but wondering if they are worth £30.
Most people seem to think they aren't so great but I need to spend as little money as possible.
What do you guys think?
