In a weird kind of way I enjoy when you get a new GTA and don't know the map and end up getting lost.

Kinda like San Andreas I think, i recall it didn't exactly have a usable maps making it a bit tricky trying to find your way (especially the part where the cops drop you off in Badlands).
I enjoyed exploring the Mojave Wasteland that it actually prolonged the games for me, while I finished Bioshock Infinite a day after it was released, it took me a solid 6 months to finish Fallout, and then play it again as a different character/sex.

You didn't enjoy GTA3? Shit even my mates who don't play vidya games enjoyed that, even my completely anti-video game girlfriend at the time enjoyed watching me play it in fact

The more 'realistic' these games get, the less interested I am.

Me and my bro still play Virtua Tennis on the Dreamcast, it's ace
I have Virtua Tennis 2 on the PS2 and it's awesome, when I saw the main complaint about 4 was that it seemed outdated I jumped on it right away!

XCom is awesome but angering

Just played through Limbo, an absolute joy

Agreed. But Chinatown Wars takes it back to it's top down roots, and all the better for it.

GTA going 3d was the best thing for it.
I remember seeing GTA 3 for the first time on PS2 - blew me away. I played that game so much. Then Vice city came out and topped it again!
Really hoping that GTA5 will be returning to the PS2 play style days. 4 was good but the general mood was too depressing.

Limbo is a wonderful game. Very much less is more.
I'm looking forward to GTA 5, it's going to be fun exploring the map and it'll be cool to have bikes back again.

Broke my PC last night. Installed a windows update, restarted to find 'missing operating system'...
Ultimate panic. Turns out the update had knocked out my raid thingy. Who knew.

New GTA looks absolutely incredible. Seriously can't wait.
Pretty much the only game I'm looking forward too this year. BF4 can wait IMO - still not sure whether I'll buy it based on EA making it a freaking cash cow.

The Steam server is unresponsive tonight...
I wonder why?

Nothing exciting in the steam sale yet.
If you don't own hotline miami though please buy it, one of the best games I've played for a while. Takes gaming completely back to its roots.

Torchlight 2 looks fun for £7, having played the first one from the GOG deal, I have to say it was everything I'd hoped D3 would be

Yes enjoyed Torchlight.
Great gameplay and graphics
Funnily enough Ed I thought exploring and the mini games look a lot of fun.
