Oh no I agree, it's the best part about the job, I change my commute to go through Richmond Park, rain or shine, it's awesome.

The shop isn't as retrogrouch as many independent shop, but not like chain shop with stupid rules and guideline (like sales staff not allowing to perform basic repair to smooth out the workload).

Maybe Ill chuck in this financial services BS and join you.

As an occasional customer I have to say the staff are really friendly and helpful.

Ed do you carry long valve 700c 18-23c inner tubes?

We do, but they're the lightweight kind that cost nearly twice as much (£8.50)

We however nowstock valve extension that allow you to buy normal valve instead, which is much more useful.

We tend not to stock those as there's very little demand beside hybrid and road wheelset, we usually order them in if necessary, Raleigh have a reasonably priced one that come with a decent sized lockring and 3/32 fixed cog for £60.

I was passing but that's what the bloke said minus the Raleigh bit.
