H+Son black matte rims (32h) laced to Dura Ace HB 7600 hubs
A nice wheelset but the hubs have some pitting which means that the rear is a bit gritty although the front is ok. I had them looked at by my LBS who said that whoever built the wheelset had not put c-clips on the hubs, so dirt may have got in there and caused the pitting, but I really haven't given them any abuse and my mate who I bought them off didn't have them for very long. Anyway, not a wheelset for rubbish weather and not a long-term investment although there is loads of life left in the rims - they are in good nick and the braking surface on the front doesn't have much wear. Due to some stupid brake shoes I was using there are some marks to the rim where they had come into contact with it but as soon as I heard a scrape I stopped using the brakes for that journey and changed the shoes when I got home - it's just the paint that suffered and only in places. You can see the mark at about 4 o'clock to 6 o'clock on the left hand wheel in the first pic. There is no braking surface on the rear rim.
