Thanks all for your opinions, a quick few things:
Just checked charge cycle, its on 986 (prob not too bad given it is 30 odd months old?). As a last resort you can get it replaced in apple store for £99 or prob for less from third parties, but Im sure this will last a couple more years before you need to do that.

Prices on ebay around £500 mark last time I checked, and this does also come with four and a half month's applecare.
Sure the new MBAs have been released, but in terms of CPU speed the new models are on a par with the 2012 model, and to be honest I dont think you will notice the lack of CPU speed unless your'e doing some helfy editing, which I doubt on MBAs. In terms of overall speed thanks to the SSD I have never thought of this as a "slow" machine.
If you need a newest models with the latest CPU whatever, then this is not for you. But as a simple, slim, mobile daily driver this will do just fine.
For £200, I'll rather keep this instead.
