It's different for everyone. If you don't think I have ridden road bikes / mtb's / BMX / Cruiser bikes then this is the narrow mindedness.

I arrived at my current fixed equation through the process of elimination.
Just because I don't like anything but riding fixed, it does not mean that everyone else has to do the same.

I'm overly passionate about fixed because it is the one for me. When you find something you are overly passionate about, then you can say the same.

I don't hate roadies, I'll just never be one and I know this.
Know what you like and do it with passion even in the face of adversity.

... and why crack on about gears on here, and #deathtoroadies etc? This is extremely narrow minded, you are trying to push your opinions on others. No point trying to argue it, or talk around it. Just get on with riding your bike and let others do the same.
