Car appreciation... the aesthetics, the engineering, etc

I wanted an E39 M5 when I moved here, but finding one was a real challenge. There were some real stinkers offered, but i decided against any of them. I like that particular model because they're often thought of as the last "proper" M car. No need for any of that turbo malarkey...

No need for a turbo on an E61 M5 - a 5 litre V10 should be enough for most people. I'm becoming highly tempted by the idea of getting the Touring version, with a tow bar. Should be a rather handy all-rounder, and I think my Scooby is dying so it might be time for a change.
