  • Wondered for a moment how the hell those bars are floating like that? then i realized...

    magnets

(Thinking about it, this may also be the solution to your creaking bar/stem issue...)

  • bummer, anyone wanna swap alpinas before they cut theirs down? Mine got an OG livewrong sticker

  • How did that happen ?
Did you buy them used or just measure wrong ?

  • Bottle cages...

Yes? No? They're solid as a rock, and cost £4 (the clips).

bonor, dont ride this, the steerer is too short.

  • you'll need some bearings in there too.

You need them in this heat! why not?

  • You need them in this heat! why not?

The clips, mostly! Not the best looking solution but by god it works!

  • Yeah i did the same thing on my Vivalo, works great, i put some innertube under mine where the cage touches

  • aches whats with your bars mate?

Bonor, I'd fit a stem before trying to put bars on that.

  • Starting creaking under stress

  • Boner is the stem.

    Aye, done that.

Fit stem under the head tube. Tighten. Enjoy lo-pro

  • I cannot believe no-one has suggested using an inverse shim

  • I thought the problem occurred because of such use.

  • true, that would work...

  • Fit stem under the head tube. Tighten. Enjoy lo-pro

That won't work, because the stem will just add stack height under the crown race. What it really needs is a window cut in the head tube so the stem can be clamped to the middle of the steerer.

  • thats mental

  • Rychtarski frame arrived from Poland to day. Really happy with it, really light.
It's gonna be my 'nice' bike and my vague plan is to build it with risers and black parts. Thoughts?

Sorry about the potato photo, was comparing the size to my dolan.

  • risers and black parts

    yes please. could be rad

  • Rattlecan my cheap and ugly green Charge Dish wheels black, yay or nay? I was planning on just using a bit of masking tape around the spokes, 3 or 4 coats and leave it at that. The green looks like shit and I can't afford a new set yet.

  • Just add a little scratch paste.
