Volenti non fit injuria as we lawyers say. People who go on track days are taken to have assumed the risk of a coming together, given that the purpose of a track day is to drive your car harder and faster than you could or should on the public highway. Hence, no liability to other track users, and as noted above they'll have signed a disclaimer anyway, although that cannot cover liability for death or personal injury given the terms of the Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977.
