Yes, I went and mentioned polo, especially the desire for a purpose-built polo court, which the Parks Development Officer took away with him, as well as the desirability of having hard standing large enough for four courts, and possibly longer lighting hours in the summer. There may be other opportunities than just in Hackney Downs. As the recommended court size (or was it 'Worlds Standard' as inspired by American court sizes?) has got bigger (I heard 40x25m yesterday, whereas at the meeting I still said 40x20m), this may get more difficult, but we'll see.
