You've got to admit, cats do look pretty damn funny when wet.
DISCLAIMER: I do not advocate cat-dunking.

I give my cat a bath around once a year. It's peretty funny.
-
• #5305
Do you use shampoo?
-
• #5306
Yep, got some stuff from a petshop. It's silly, they only sell it in a 500ml bottle but you don't need to wash a cat that often. It used to be pink but all the colour is gone now

Who wants her!! Lost not stray but can't find her owners, any takers?

Extremely tempted but can't do it before the end of the month.

Great, well you're welcome to come and meet her. Gonna take her to the vets to see if she's neutered next week. If there's no taker's before the end of the month she's yours!...
if you still want her.

Oh, now I would hate to miss out on the chance if someone steps in first but I understand you needing to have her move on. Can I dibs her? It is possible that another forum member may be able to foster her for me for a while (and keep an eye on her weight [in-joke]) if you cannot keep her till the end of July.
So, yes, I want her, what the hell, I need a new cat.
Let me know what is possible. And thanks. -

Brown. It's the colour all natural things go when they get old.

She's a beauty. How long have you been looking for the owners? -

I'd offer to have her til then Will but I'm going to be away myself 23 July - 3rd August :( -

Thanks. If push comes to shove I can sort something out. I feel terrible for her previous owners and still hope they are found, But if not....

Presumably you've already checked to see if she's microchipped? Not trying to do you out of a cat here Will!

I can cat sit for a few weeks until Will can take delivery. I miss having cats around.
Nobody tell Chainbreaker though.

• #5320
He'll never know.
Just shove the cat into a whey protein jar if he should turn up.

Yes, I realise that. Read up thread. Of course I am not trying to take a cat that could be traced to its owner.

ANYONE KNOW THESE CATS???
These two friendly adult cats were brought into our Canning Town clinic by some people who claimed that they had owned them for 5 years since there were kittens but now their new baby is allergic to the cats.
However they couldn't tell us neither the names of the cats nor how old they were nor if they were vaccinated and neutered nor whether they were male or female.
We have called the ginger white boy Oskar and the blue tortie girl Sky. They both wore a red collar and look really well looked after.
Oskar is a three legged cat with one of his front legs missing. The people who claimed that the cats were theirs didn't even mention the missing leg.
We suspect that these two cats didn't belong to the people who brought them to us. The cats weren't microchipped but we are worried that they belong to someone who could be missing them.
Does anyone recognise these cats?
Please contact canningtown@celiahammond.org or tel 020 7474 8811

So, opthamologist vet has looked at it and said that it is healing but not rejoining properly, so had to scratch a grid onto her cornea to allow it to regrow and rejoin properly... :(
This means cone of shame:
I think we might need to go back for a smaller one...
Couldn't help but think she looks like a frilled lizard with that ridiculous thing (that she has to wear for a week...)All healed perfectly now :)

Begone Cone Of Shame!
There is nothing more tragic than I-fell-into-the-canal-again kitten eyes. Do you know how much water a cat can absorb? And then deposit in the most awkward place (usually on top of me)
Good point. Waterproof GPS may be required..
