Yellows are good, really good, I used them on the road and track. No squeal, but a bit noisy when braking hard. They don't really need warming up but they do need a proper bedding in process.
I've just heard from others that greens fell apart in the calipers when using them hard. However thinking about it now, if you're not going anywhere near a track, and you're not going crazy on the roads day in, day out, they're going to be fine.
Hmm, good to know. The never did last that long, but they did get well used. Also, the car I mainly used them on was not the 2ltr GTi6, was a 3 door 1.8 16v version... was good deal lighter than the GTi6. I did also use the Greens on a 2ltr 5 door XSi though and they were fine for everyday driving.
