Number 67 bus collided with a cyclist at the junction of Stamford Hill and Clapton Common at around 5.20pm.
Paramedics tried to revive him at the scene and an air ambulance landed in the middle of the junction but they didn’t take him away in it.
The victim is in a critical condition in hospital.
