First guy I spoke to on the phone said they'd do it, then once I'd bought the policy they said they wouldn't, I told them that I'd bought it on that basis- they sorted it out.
It took a good few weeks of going back and forth, but it got sorted in the end.
I think it hinged on the fact that I move it from bike to bike (which proved it's portability), despite it being pretty well secured to the bike whilst in use.
