Thanks for the added info, amey. They are indeed, extremely nice saddles. I will try and loan a snake when I'm next in town.
Tp88, as amey points out, the snake is apparently best suited to the arione user. I personally get on well with the arione, but this came up so I took a punt. It's not bad, or highly uncomfortable, it just doesn't quite suit me as much as others I've been trying out.
