A friend's dad is looking to sell his Cervelo P3C time trial bike. He used to ride TTs and things, but it now just sits in their shed, and even when it was used was kept in immaculate condition.

Wheelset - SRAM carbon clinchers (alloy rims) – S60 front / S80 rear
QRs - USE Spin Stix titanium skewers.

Saddle - Fizik Arione Tri2 with braided carbon rails
Chainset - Dura Ace 53/42 10 speed crankset, 170mm
Front/Rear Mech - Dura Ace 10 speed
Cassette - Dura Ace 10 speed - 12-23

Shifters - Dura Ace aero shifters (indexed for rear mech)

The bike is currently in Bedford, but I'm sure if someone London based is really interested then the hour or so on the train won't be too much trouble.

The seller really wants it gone, so has said £1500 as a guide price, with sensible offers probably being considered. Either way, for the spec of the bike it's an absolute steal. Ok, hive of activity here since I last checked, so let me go through it all.

Mirius - Having never ridden it I can't tell you from experience, but I don't think it'd feel that much different in principle. That said, with the variable saddle position and the TT cockpit, it'll probably put you into more of a tuck than a road bike would, especially if you're not used to riding on drops.

Callis15 and CTN - I can't PM either of you, so I assume you're still in the kindergarten stage; there's thousands on threads on here, go and post something interesting in a few and then you'll get full privileges - I'm sure you understand I don't want to give away someone else's email on a public forum.

How old is it?

A simple Google shows it's the 2008 frameset - parts would have come after that over the course of a few months i'd have thought, but it not being my bike I can't be certain.

I don't think it was ridden for more than a few seasons though, and certainly not through winter, so even though it's five years old, it won't show it.

Nice. Only a year ago I'd be able to afford it. Now I can only dream.

Perhaps, but if it's just been sitting in your house taking up space, then a guaranteed £1500 after 24 hours of it being posted is better than maybe selling it in a few months time on the bay for 3 grand. I can assure you that the price is purely circumstantial, with absolutely no reflection on the condition of the bike.
