Jeez.

Oh. I bought it for 430 from Oli Q!
why?

Because it was several months after the original sale and I didn't check the price that he bought it for. I wanted the bike so much that I genuinely thought (and think) that 430 was still a very fair price. No fleecing intended at all, I'm not in this to make a profit.

No it's totally cool Apollo, I didn't mean it to look dodgy, I've been around long enough to remember Jonny Rau etc...>>>>>> Basically I'm the kind of idiot that gets carried away with a bike he wants and then pays more than he needs. And cheers Jonny!

I've got a KG176 - not dissimilar to this - lovely ride and deceptively quick.
This is a bargain.

Love KG176's... black or silver?
-

Ha! I pm'd Oli q about a month ago trying to track this down... I've too many bikes but always fancied this... Good luck! If it hangs around for a couple of weeks I may have to take it...

i'm 5.8" would you think this frame will be too big for me?
-
• #14
Hey Matty, I did the exact same thing... PM me if you're still looking in a couple of weeks.
And Georgie - it's not for me to say really, but yeah, I'd say it's slightly on the large size for you unfortunately. At 5.8" you should be looking around the 53 / 54 mark as a very rough guess.

it's maroon - here it is with a slightly controversial cockpit setup - the joy of downtube shifters - currently sporting original cinelli giro d'italia drops/ 1A stem and modolo levers and some nice dove grey cinelli tape.

The end of an era. I know this guy and his bike very well - sad times but someone will end up with a fab ride!

Not that I think I have a chance on this, but I have a strict budget of 250 and would take this bike in a heart beat. I could come to Brighton on the train whenever convenient :-)

Thanks all - PM'd the relevant parties....
£320
57 cm c-t. Top tube: 56 cm c-c.
Ok Imma let y'all buy my lovely Look. There's no way I'd ever sell it if I was still in the UK, but Berlin is not the city for such a bike and it's a shame that it's sitting in a flat in Brighton not being ridden. There's not much else to say about this bike - it's a Look.
Everything on it is exactly the same as when I got it (it was perfect for me - so why change it?) except for the Mavic rear derailleur, which snapped whilst climbing Devil's Dyke. It currently has a very unglamorous Shimano 105 on, so you'd want to whip that off before heading out to drinks.
I'm in Berlin and the bike is in Brighton. I have good friends in Brighton who can very easily handle the transaction and meet you at the station, and I'd much rather it gets picked up... Obviously if that's too much faff, I can post, but not until I'm back in a month's time, sorrows. No splitting, bombing or heavy petting.
