So, I managed to get the cable in.
These levers are very late SR and seem to have some Aero block in them
However, they don't seem to close properly with non-aero routing (which I need cos aero will look pish on the bike)Is anybody familiar with this problem?

Turns out non-aero routing on these ain't gonna work. Anybody want a pair of Aero ones? Got original white hoods for them.
Hi -
So I've a pair of SR brake levers that can be used aero/non aero. The model which has a part inside the lever so that you can either route the cable out (non-aero) or through (for aero)
So, I got my mushroom head brake lever and start pushing it in from the under side of the brake lever. Where it then either comes out through the lever handle, or it comes out in front of the metal cable groove area where it's no use.
I am technically blonde, so I may be missing something simple, but I tried bending the cable a bit, etc. and it just won't slide in between the lever handle/the groove area.
A google/lfgss search also revealed nothing. I've installed cables before in STI systems/V-brakes. Is this a moment of Ultra Blondeness, or is it a bit tricky and does anybody have a good tip here?
