Aside from the fact that I seriously hate thieves, one of the beauties of riding a bike is that you can go virtually anywhere (within a certain perimeter), at anytime without having to worry about traffic or parking. Only if you do decide to park you can't blink your eyes or turn your back before some fucking bastard nicks your bike.
As for the above post, while I am rather sceptical, I didn't mean to suggest that bike theft isn't being taken seriously by the police, since honestly I have no idea, hence the question.
