I had those on a bike, they're quite heavy and don't give the greatest ride, but they're tough. I found these to be better:

Thanks thats very useful! Didn't realise they were so heavy glad you pointed it out! Do you have any ideas about decent inner tubes in this size?

I didn't develop any particular preferences about inner tubes I'm afraid.

I think 700c (622mm) tubes usually stretch to 27" (630mm). I've found Schwalbe tubes hold their air pretty well, SV17 are the ones.

I have been looking for some gumwall tyres for a retro build i am doing. With the wheels being Wolber Super Champion Modelles and so 27 1 1/4 size i've been struggling to find the right sizes...
I have found these and just wondered if anyone had any opinions/other ideas?
